Match Report Press Report

Five Rivers 1 Lost to Fair Oak 1 in a close match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 45 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, George Stafford, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 95 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Nick Brown.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 4 string, Damon Chase, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 4 string, Damon Chase, who over-turned a 661 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
